The students at Pulaski County High School will have a new course opportunity starting in the fall of 2026. For the first time, Music Composition will be included in the course curriculum. This class will be designed to integrate computer based Digital Audio Workstations with classical and contemporary compositional techniques, to create a new learning option for students. This hands on model of music education, will give students the ability to create and compose music regardless of prior musical experience. This class will compose music that will not only be used for class projects and assignments, but also may be used around the school for sporting events and community connections. This class is the first of it’s kind at PCHS, and many students are excited for the opportunity to create new music.
