In December, 7th graders worked in small collaborative groups to research topics related to the Roman Empire. Featured here is the group that focused on Roman aqueducts. They created a Google Slides presentation to teach their peers about the topic, addressing the who, what, when, where, why, and how, and providing a real-world example of how aqueducts functioned. After serving as “teachers for a day,” their classmates applied what they learned through follow-up activities and discussion.
