At Science Hill School, we are proud to share the wonderful ways our After School Choir Program made up of enthusiastic 5th through 8th grade students—has been spreading joy throughout our community this holiday season.

Recently, our choir students proudly participated in the local Christmas Parade. They worked together to create a festive parade float, rode through the streets waving to spectators, and happily passed out candy along the route. Their creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit were on full display, bringing smiles to faces of all ages.

In addition to the parade, our talented singers had the honor of performing at a Retirement Teacher Luncheon. Through their music, students helped celebrate the dedication and hard work of educators who have spent their careers shaping young minds. It was a meaningful opportunity for our choir to give back to those who have given so much. They were the only performing group present, so it made this experience extra special.

Looking ahead, the After-School Choir will continue sharing the gift of music by visiting three local nursing homes. During these visits, students will sing Christmas carols to residents and help deliver quilts to local veterans as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their service. Some people are not able to travel for the holidays, so our students are bringing the holiday spirit to them!

We are incredibly proud of our choir students for their commitment, compassion, and willingness to serve others. Their voices are not only filling the halls with music but also warming hearts throughout our community this holiday season.
