During the third quarter at Hopkins Elementary School, students and staff enjoyed a series of exciting events and special highlights. The quarter kicked off with the 100th Day of School celebration, where students engaged in fun, creative activities to mark this important milestone. Another memorable event was our school’s NTI Days where teachers practiced being AI Artists, which brought the school community together for some friendly competition and lots of laughs.
Read Across America Week was a major highlight, featuring themed dress-up days, guest readers, and a focus on the joy of reading. The Book Fair provided students and families with the opportunity to explore and purchase new books, fostering a love of reading throughout the school.
A special treat this quarter was a visit with Somerset High School’s talented performers, who put on a magical production of Disney’s Frozen Musical for the entire school to enjoy. To top it all off, students were treated to Dairy Queen Free Cone Day last Thursday, making for a sweet ending to a fun-filled quarter. Overall, the third quarter at Hopkins Elementary was packed with learning, laughter, and memorable experiences that brought the school community closer together.
