Girdler Elementary fifth grade students recently attended a cultural program, presented by community partner Anne Pedersen. Students learned about the Chinese New Year and Chinese culture. They put their acting skills to use and helped act out a story, followed by the singing of a special Chinese song. They were excited to find out that it is the year of the horse.
