We’ve had an exciting spring here at Northview! Our fantastic librarian, Jessica Hall, has been working really hard this year to start our very first drama club. She’s been teaming up with our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to put on a wonderful production of The Jungle Book Kids.
I had the chance to work with the off-stage crew to help get the set pieces started, and we wanted to make sure the whole school could be part of supporting the show. In art class, every grade helped craft jungle animals to decorate and bring the jungle to life around our stage. Plus, our front office and FRC staff pitched in to create an incredible jungle setting that led up to the gym stage. We finally got everything set up and brought our jungle to life!
I couldn’t be more proud of how our school came together to make this show such a success. The drama club students worked so hard with Ms. Hall, and they were so excited to share their efforts with everyone—students, staff, and families alike.
We had an amazing turnout from our community on Friday night and Saturday to see the performances. We truly hope this is just the beginning of many great things to come for our students in the years ahead!
